About the Center

  • The Détente Center is a non-partisan, non-profit organization advancing informed dialogue, democratic development, and regional cooperation across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

  • We focus on education, research, and open dialogue — not advocacy. All programs operate under transparent, non-partisan standards with no affiliation to any political group or government.

  • The Center is incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA, and operates internationally through partnerships, research collaborations, and independent projects.

  • Funding comes from charitable contributions, research grants, and institutional partnerships. We do not accept funding that compromises our independence or non-partisan status.
