About the Center

The Détente Center is a non-partisan, non-profit organization advancing informed dialogue, democratic development, and regional cooperation across Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East.

We focus on education, research, and open dialogue — not advocacy. All programs operate under transparent, non-partisan standards with no affiliation to any political group or government.

The Center is incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA, and operates internationally through partnerships, research collaborations, and independent projects.

Funding comes from charitable contributions, research grants, and institutional partnerships. We do not accept funding that compromises our independence or non-partisan status.
